The 6th grade LLD students joined KHS Success classes for a hands-on Life Skills event, learning essential tasks like doing laundry and making a quick meal. Huge thanks to our amazing teachers and aides for making this experience so meaningful!

The Boys Varsity Team capped off an UNDEFEATED SEASON! ā With a perfect 10-0 record the team was led by Senior Captain Evan Torres, Senior Captains Julian Fernandez and Antonio Velez.
Senior Boys Captain Evan Torres shattered the 50 Freestyle Record with a time of 22.57.


At the January Board meeting, 21 Kearny teachers were recognized for earning their ESL certifications through a partnership with Fairleigh Dickinson University. Of those 21 teachers, 11 also earned their Bilingual certification. Teachers and their families were invited to a reception followed by recognition at the Board meeting with a certificate. Congratulations to all these inspiring teachers for their notable accomplishments and for their dedication to our district's students!




Franklin School 4th graders had an enriching experience presenting their cultural heritage posters to their classmates. They showcased their ancestral roots, shared popular dishes, music, folk dances, traditional attire, and meaningful customs. Some even wore or displayed traditional outfits, explaining the significance behind their designs. They also highlighted famous figures from their cultures and passed-down stories, creating a vibrant celebration of diversity and tradition.





āļøItās sweater weather season at Franklin School, and Mrs. Dematos' students have embraced the icy temps by computing long division problems to decorate a wintery sweater! āļø
