Did you know? Drinking water can improve your focus and energy! 💧 Make it fun by:
✅ Setting a water reminder on your phone.
✅ Adding fresh fruit for a flavor boost! 🍓🍋
✅ Keeping a bottle at your desk and taking small sips throughout the day.
The physical education classes at Washington chalked the walk today with positive and uplifting messages in honor of Wellness Week! 🌈

Washington School is now in the Main Idea Madness championship week. Mrs. O’Grady’s, Mrs. Mirigliani’s, and Ms. Sansone’s classes received a dress-down because one of the students from those classes made a bucket and had their names randomly drawn. Each student got 10 School Bucks!

1️⃣ Close your eyes and take a deep inhale through your nose.
2️⃣ Hold for 3 seconds.
3️⃣ Exhale slowly through your mouth.
4️⃣ Repeat 5 times.

✔️ Seated Leg Lifts – Lift one leg at a time, hold for a few seconds, and switch!
✔️ Chair Twists – Rotate your torso side to side for a core stretch.
✔️ Shoulder Rolls – Roll shoulders forward and backward to release tension.
💡 Tip: Move every 30 minutes to keep your body feeling great! Try these during class or at your desk. #WellnessWeek #MoveMore

Mrs. DiGiovanni and Mrs. Gryckiewicz’s first graders from Washington are on a word detective adventure! This week, they’re digging deep into soft c and soft g sounds.
