Mrs. DaSilva Brown’s PreK class from Washington finished their Tree Study by making a Fruit Salad together. They had so much fun learning about how trees change, what grows on trees, what animals live in trees, who takes care of/how to take care of trees and even making applesauce. Washington School is ECSTATIC to announce our Teacher of the Year (Mrs. Peso) & Educational Service Professional of the Year (Ms. Von). Mrs. Peso is a 1st grade teachers currently, but has also taught 2nd & 6th grade during her time at Washington. Mrs. Peso is an innovative and hands on teacher who makes her classroom a fun and friendly environment. Ms. Von is a Speech Language Pathologist at our school. She helps give her students a voice and helps them express themselves! We are honored to celebrate them and are thankful of their contributions to our Washington School community! 💙❤️

Our Washington School Preschoolers are having bushels of fun in Mrs. Gawronski-Smyth and Mrs. Lucia’s class. They followed a recipe to make applesauce for the Tree Study. Our preschoolers were measuring and mixing, cooking and tasting! Parents and guardians play such an important role in the development of a child and our Preschoolers had such a great time learning how to cook from 2 of our parents!
