Washington School 4th graders had an exciting visit from the New York Red Bulls to kick off a fun new fitness program! Each student received their very own pedometer to track daily steps and stay active. Let’s cheer them on as they work toward an awesome reward—Red Bulls tickets and a celebration party!

Washington School is proud to present our students who received High Honors and Honors for Marking Period 3! Congratulations, we are so proud of each and every one of you!

Washington Elementary School proudly hosted its inaugural Washington School Alumni Day, an event thoughtfully created and coordinated by Ms. Afayee. The celebration drew a wonderful turnout of former students, retired teachers, and current district staff now working in other buildings that used to be at Washington. Guests enjoyed reconnecting with one another while exploring old yearbooks and memorabilia that sparked fond memories. Our guests even popped into classrooms to talk with our children about their time at Washington and why Washington made such a lasting and important impression on their lives.
A special highlight of the day were guided tours led by our Student Council members, featuring stops that showcased Washington’s rich history. The event was a resounding success, creating a warm and positive atmosphere that was deeply appreciated not only by our alumni but also by current students and staff.

Bring Your Child to Work Day was an absolute blast at Washington School! Our special guests got to see their superhero parents in action—and then jump right into the fun themselves!
They became Newscast stars with guest cameos, got creative with rock painting for our school garden, and showed off their athletic side in a lively game of Kickball with Ms. Hill. The building turned into a giant scavenger hunt as they searched high and low for hidden Mr. Adamski’s and Mr. Ruiz’s—earning School Bucks along the way!
And of course, no epic day is complete without some sweet rewards—ice cream, ice pops, and a trip to the School Store made sure of that!
With almost 60 awesome loved ones joining the fun, it was a day full of laughter, smiles, and unforgettable memories. We already can’t wait for next year!
Check out more photos of this epic day on our School Instagram @washingtonschoolnj ❤️💙
