It was a joyful morning full of laughter, creativity, and friendship. We truly are lucky to have such an amazing group of students!

Today Mrs. Martinez's second graders from Washington explored the amazing life cycle of a butterfly! Mrs. Martinez’s students learned about the four stages: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly. They discovered how a tiny egg grows into a caterpillar, transforms inside a chrysalis, and finally emerges as a beautiful butterfly.
Our young scientists had so much fun learning about nature, asking great questions, and seeing how incredible the process of metamorphosis really is! 🌱🐛🦋

Congratulations to the winners of Washington School's annual Creative Book Character Potato Contest!

Mrs. Martinez’s 2nd Grade Class from Washington is learning about Earth’s rotation! We’re discovering that Earth spins once every 24 hours. When our side faces the Sun, it’s daytime. When it turns away, it’s nighttime. Earth is always moving, even when we can’t feel it! 🌎☀️🌙
