Washington Elementary School proudly hosted its inaugural Washington School Alumni Day, an event thoughtfully created and coordinated by Ms. Afayee. The celebration drew a wonderful turnout of former students, retired teachers, and current district staff now working in other buildings that used to be at Washington. Guests enjoyed reconnecting with one another while exploring old yearbooks and memorabilia that sparked fond memories. Our guests even popped into classrooms to talk with our children about their time at Washington and why Washington made such a lasting and important impression on their lives.
A special highlight of the day were guided tours led by our Student Council members, featuring stops that showcased Washington’s rich history. The event was a resounding success, creating a warm and positive atmosphere that was deeply appreciated not only by our alumni but also by current students and staff.
