Schuyler School - During the month of October, Mrs. Buggle's 5th grade science students engaged in hands-on investigtions to explore key concepts in physical science. Students examined chemical changes by transforming an ordinary egg into a "bouncy" one and applied principles of force and motion by designing and testing catapults to determine which team could launch candy corn the greatest distance.
Schuyler School - Congratulations to our iReady Math winners! These students had the most lessons passed in each class for the month of October. We also celebrated the highest in each grade level and our grand champ with the highest number of lessons passed in the whole school!

Save the Date! KHS Play - December 5th and 6th
The senior play this year is “Puffs” by Matt Cox. The play is a parody of the Harry Potter book series by J.K. Rowling, but from the perspective of the "Puffs": that is, members of the Hogwarts house, Hufflepuff.
The play will be performed on December 5 & 6 at 7:00pm in the Kearny’s High School auditorium under the direction of Milagros Gonzalez. The cost of the ticket is $6 for students and senior citizens and $8 for adults. All proceeds go to the class of 2026.
There will be a concession stand available during the intermission where you can further support the class.

Schuyler School - Mrs. Cecere’s 4th grade writing classes brought their sugary styles to life using rich descriptive writing — and with a little help from AI, their candy couture designs became real digital creations! So proud of their creativity, imagination, and the way they blended art, writing, and technology.

Schuyler School - Today Ms.Avino’s Pre-K 4 class visited the pumpkin patch. We had so much fun picking out our own pumpkins. We discussed how pumpkins come in different sizes and shapes!
Schuyler School - Ms.Hoeller, Mrs. Deray and Ms.Avino’s class started off their Percussion study with a visit to Ms.Bernal’s music class. They learned all about the names and sounds of the percussion instruments . They had a great hands on experience! Thank you Ms.Bernal !
