Schuyler School - Third grade KEEP students designed and created inclusive playgrounds that any kid would love!
Schuyler School - The second-grade students have been learning how to write friendly letters. They explored the five key components of a letter and practiced proper envelope formatting. Each student wrote a letter to a friend or family member. Once the letters were completed, the class took a walk to the mailbox to mail them.

Schuyler School - Students in Mr. Silpoch’s class participated in a math review game for the NJSLA test called “Mathketball”. The students were paired up into teams and solved various multiplication questions. Then, at random, students were selected to come up to the Promethean board and provide their answers to the class. A correct answer earned the student two shots at the basket. An incorrect answer earned the student one shot. In the end, both sides ended in an 8-8 tie! Everyone’s a winner in Mr. Silpoch’s class! 🏀”
The 2024-25 District Calendar has been updated. 🔔 Due to unused emergency/snow days, all schools will be closed on Friday, May 23rd and Tuesday, June 10th.

Schuyler School Pre-K 3 and PreK4 classes held a “Dinosaurs Rock” Parent Engagement event where students and their families enjoyed an exciting presentation about dinosaurs and their fossils. Students were even able to dig for fossils and got to take home two of their very own as a keepsake! Thank you to our Pre-K families for joining us!
Schuyler School - To get everyone ready for our NJSLA testing we had our first ever "Rock the Test" pep rally! The students wore their favorite rock band shirts or dressed like rock stars! They got some great testing tips from Mrs. Iacono and the Junior Peers and then put their teachers to the test with some fun activities!
Schuyler School - We are so excited to start off our week of celebration for Teacher Appreciation Week with a Cinco de Mayo party!
Schuyler School - Miss Cuellar's class took a trip to theTurtle Back Zoo! The rain tried to put a damper on their day but nothing could stop the students from laughing and smiling once they saw all the fun and exhilarating animals the zoo had to offer!
Schuyler School - Congratulations to our iReady winners for April. These students passed the most lessons during the month of April for each homeroom. Then we recognized the students who passed the most in the whole grade level and the grand champ who passed the most iReady math lessons in the whole school!
Schuyler School - Congratulations to our 4th grade students for having the highest attendance percentage for the month of April!
Schuyler School - Congratulations to the winners of our Achieve3000 contest for April. These students had the highest increase in lexile levels for each grade level for the month of April!
