Schuyler School - Our ESL students had a special day releasing their ladybugs! Over the past few weeks, they observed and learned about the ladybug life cycle, watching these tiny creatures grow from larvae into beautiful adult ladybugs. Students made observations and discovered the amazing changes that happen during metamorphosis. Today, they proudly released their ladybugs into nature.

Schuyler School - Second graders from Schuyler School—Ms. Rush, Mrs. Rocha, and Mrs. Santiago’s classes—had a special opportunity to meet their pen pals from Roosevelt School, Ms. O’Malley’s second grade class, at Bell Park. After spending time writing letters back and forth to one another, the students finally got to meet in person. It was such an exciting and meaningful experience as they connected face-to-face, shared conversations, and built new friendships. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and lasting memories for all!

Families enjoyed a fun-filled evening decorating book totes, creating Summer Reading Bingo cards, and painting caterpillar-inspired food rocks after listening to The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
