🛠️🎉 Garfield School’s Engineers traveled to NJIT after seven weeks of intense preparation to compete in the elementary STEM competition — facing off against 40 other schools. This week in music class, Kindergartners used classroom instruments to tell the story “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.” They chose which instruments fit best with each part of the story, then practiced resting position, taking turns, and playing technique for our unpitched percussion instruments!

Garfield School: Our annual 6th-grade homeroom volleyball competition was a big success! 🏐 Students showed off their teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit as they competed in a fun and exciting tournament. Congratulations to Mrs. Gerbasio’s homeroom for coming out on top and earning the championship title!
