Mrs. Berberian's fourth grade class at Garfield School is diving into Europe’s Middle Ages, and students are having fun bringing history to life! At the end of each chapter, anyone who answers our Medieval Musings trivia question correctly gets to choose a day to serve as our class king or queen. On their royal day, they wear a crown, are addressed as “His/Her Majesty,” and enjoy making special classroom decisions—just like a real monarch!





Garfield School congratulates our winner of the weekly Masked Reader Game! Students must guess which mysterious teacher is reading a story from behind the mask.

Hooked on kid-powered creativity! 🧡🦃 Garfield School 1st & 2nd grade KEEP students used the engineering design process to conquer the Thanksgiving leftover challenge — and they did it with just TWO sheets of paper and FOUR pipe cleaners. From sketches to prototypes to proud smiles, the clever container designs were all about imagination + problem solving. Garfield School paid respect to the motorcade escorting the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Museum on its way to the VFW. The exhibit is sponsored by the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.

At Garfield School we are excited for the release of Wicked: For Good. Mrs. Berberian is matching with one of her Fourth Graders.

Students in Ms Seeley's second grade Science class at Garfield School have been learning about different states of matter such as solid, liquid, and gas. To end their unit, they tested different types of candy to see which ones would melt to a liquid and which ones would keep their shape when placed in hot water!
