Garfield School put on a wonderful Spring Concert! Congratulations to all of our shining stars who performed in grade level singing, Concert Band, Chorus, Orff Ensemble, and Drum Club. Thank you to Mr. Burzynski and Mr. Kubowicz for teaching the students the art of music and to the PTA for decorating for our big day.

Garfield School PTA fundraiser at Applebees to raise money 6th grade class. Thank you to the families who came to eat and support! Thank you to the PTA volunteers, teacher volunteers, and KHS student volunteers!
Garfield School 3rd graders were tasked to create objects made of recycled materials and were very creative in doing so. They ranged from boats and cars to vacuums and vending machines. They did a great job!

Garfield School 6th graders planted a garden! A special thank you to Mrs. Gerbasio, Mrs. Tchalabi, Mrs. Nolan, Mr. Tchalabi and Mr. Evanchick for all of their efforts in creating this outdoor learning space where the students have hands on experiences designing and caring for a garden.

Garfield School: Ms. Pace and Mrs. Lazu had former MLB player and Olympian, Patrick Kivlehan, visit their classrooms to celebrate the ending of their ball study. He read us a book and we even got to hold and see his Silver Medal! 🥈⚾️
Garfield School: Kindergartners are enjoying weekly library classes. This week Ms. Curry read "The Little Cloud" by Eric Carle. Then the students used their imagination and painted their own little cloud.
Garfield School: Second Graders visit the library for STEM enrichment with Ms. Curry. Their challenge was to create a flower that springs up on its own with straws, paper, and pipe cleaners.
