Franklin School's ABA students recently enjoyed an unforgettable experience at LifeTown, a fully immersive indoor city designed for children and adults with special needs to practice crucial life skills. From banking and riding bikes to shopping at ShopRite, the students had the opportunity to use their communication devices and practice interacting with others in a real-world community setting.

Franklin School: Congratulations to our Emoji Story Title of the week winners!

Ms. Kolheffer and Ms. Klein's class at Franklin School released their butterflies 🦋 yesterday after learning about the life cycle and the changes they went through. Students in Ms. Hatfield's class Kearny High School also took part in this special activity, releasing their butterflies at their school as well. Thank you to Mrs. DeLima for giving both schools the opportunity to experience this! ☀️ All the students had a great time enjoying the sunshine and the butterflies! 🦋☀️

Franklin School: The Franklin School Student Council concluded Teacher Appreciation Week with a snack bar offering donuts, cookies, coffee, chips, and water, and each teacher received a personalized certificate! This event was a way for students to express their appreciation to the teaching staff for all of their hard work and dedication throughout the school year!

Franklin School: To prepare for state testing, Mrs. Janz and Mrs. Onnembo sent home top secret letters to their families. Their loved ones wrote an encouraging message and the students were able to read them before they started their test, giving them a boost of confidence to start their day!
