πŸ’™ On Autism Acceptance Day, Franklin School Students proudly wore blue to commemorate the dedication of the Michelle Sammaro Memorial Playground, which was built after tireless fundraising efforts by Heather Klein and Cathy Pedinha. Principal Cali and ABA instructor Heather Klein shared heartfelt speeches, and the Sammaro family honored their mother's legacy. Joined by Kearny City Councilwoman DeCastro, as well as Councilmen Ficeto and Zapata, and Mayor Carole Jean Doyle, Board of Education Member Viscuso, and our Administration, the event symbolized unity and support for our special education students.
