Ms. Dyl, Mrs. Hornung, Ms. Weiss, Mrs. Ruthman, Mrs. Molina, & Mr. Flannery’s classes from Washington (with the help of Ms. Von & Ms. Decena and all the classroom teacher’s classroom aides) were able to embark on an adventure to Turtleback Zoo yesterday! Mrs. Mirigliani's class from Washington School learned about the scientific method. They made observations, asked questions, came up with a hypothesis, and then completed an experiment!
The students in Mrs. Donovan’s class from Washington School completed the spaghetti tower STEM challenge. They had thirty minutes to create a structure that could support a jumbo marshmallow using only spaghetti, mini marshmallows, and tape. The students brainstormed, planned, and worked together to create their structures!
