The third annual Faculty Field Day, held on September 3, 2024, centered around teacher wellness. The event began with a keynote address by Dr. Katie Peters, who emphasized the value of kindness and empathy. Following the keynote, teachers participated in various wellness activities, including yoga, yard games, walking, painting, cooking, and more. The day concluded with a lively pop-up performance by Appetite for Instruction, an all-faculty band featuring Marlaina Melker on vocals, James Sickinger on guitar, John Kubowicz on keyboard, Jeremy Gorin on saxophone, and Salvatore Coffaro on drums. Inspired, teachers and staff are ready to welcome their students to an exciting year! Check us out on NJ.com! https://www.nj.com/galleries/EIA4Q3GWJNBHJGB57P6H2UZTFY/

Washington School is saying goodbye to the best there is today. Words cannot express how much the Washington School community will miss Mr. Jon Zimmerman. He has been an amazing leader and friend to us for 13 glorious years. We wish him luck in his retirement and his mark on Washington will always be remembered and cherished. We like to say once at Washington, always at Washington. ❤️💙
