Garfield School: Mrs. Lonnay's 6th-grade social studies students wrapped up their unit on Ancient Greece with a creative culminating project! After learning about Greek history and mythology, students designed and created their own masks inspired by the stories and characters they studied. A fun and artistic way to bring ancient civilizations to life!

Kindergarteners in Ms. Benenati's class did a magical lesson today! 🌱📚 The class planted lima beans and created Jack and the Beanstalk crafts to bring the story to life. Watching them care for their sprouts and imagine giant adventures was pure joy!

Fifteen fourth grade KEEP students attended the The Hudson County Gifted & Talented Consortium Dream Flag Project. Students proudly shared their poems and their Dream Flags then participated in organized activities that promoted self expression and creativity.
Once a month students at Garfield School visit other classrooms to buddy read with flashlights. We call it Flashlight Friday! 🔦📚
