Garfield School: Our 6th graders participated in the annual Clap Out as they took their final walk through the halls of Garfield School. 👏💙 Students, teachers, and staff lined the hallways to celebrate their accomplishments and wish them well on their journey to middle school. It was a special and emotional moment filled with pride, memories, and excitement for the future. We are so proud of our 6th graders and wish them continued success at Lincoln School and beyond!

It was a wonderful opportunity to look back on all they have accomplished and the memories they will carry with them to middle school.

Garfield School: Garfield School recently held its End-of-the-Year Academic Awards Assembly to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our students throughout the school year. 🏆✨ Students were recognized for their academic excellence, perseverance, growth, and commitment to learning. We are incredibly proud of all of our award recipients and the effort they put forth each day. Congratulations to all of our students on a successful year of learning and achievement! 👏📚

Garfield School: Our 6th graders celebrated the end of their elementary school journey at the annual 6th Grade Dance! 🎉✨ Students enjoyed an evening filled with music, dancing, laughter, and memories with friends. As they prepare for their next chapter, it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate all they have accomplished during their time at Garfield School. We wish our 6th graders the very best as they move on to middle school!

Curious what happens when science goes full-throttle at Garfield? 🚀 Students were amazed by mind-blowing experiments and hands-on demos at our Extreme Science Assembly!

Garfield School’s Flag Day parade featured our youngest students proudly marching to music, showing off their handmade Flag Day crafts.

Garfield School’s Flag Day ceremony featured a beautiful flag-raising and an engaging presentation on the history of the American flag. A heartfelt thank you to Mayor Carol Jean Doyle and the Members of Kearny-Belleville Lodge 1050 for making the event both inspirational and educational. Special applause to our performers — Mrs. Lagos and Helena from Kindergarten — for a wonderful performance. Happy Flag Day!

Garfield students in Mrs. Gallagher-Figueroa's class are diving into phonics! Students are teaming up to review the "oa" and "oe" vowel teams, mastering the rules that help them decode and spell long "O" words.
