Mrs. Bonaldi took three of our Washington 5th graders to “Day of Computing” at Montclair State University yesterday!





Washington School Principal John Adamski kicks off the school day with an Ask Me Anything table - opening conversations, building trust, and connecting with students.




Washington School Preschool students in Mrs. Smyth and Ms. Martinez’s class have been busy following recipes for their Grocery Store study!
The students graphed which recipe they wanted to make, and with the help of a classroom Mom, they made Cream Cheese and Strawberry Snacks!
Yum, yum, yummy! The students practiced graphing, measuring, fine motor skills and had many conversations about nutrition!










Ms. Bird’s 3rd grade KEEP students from Washington learned about pulleys and chairlifts.
Students were challenged to build a chairlift on a pulley system that would safely bring a figurine to the top of the “mountain.”
All students were able to complete the challenge with their own unique design!

Ms. Weiss from Washington shared some Hanukkah traditions with Miss Agbing and Miss Savage’s classes. They celebrated by playing dreidel!

In celebration of our PreK Light Study, Washington School had so much fun watching, singing and dancing along to “The Laser Show”. We learned where lights come from, how do we use light, what happens when we block light and what kind of things does light shine through. 🔦💡🚨
