Then we celebrated the students who had the most lessons passed for their whole grade level, and then our superstar champ who had the most lessons passed in the whole school!

Schyler School - Congratulations to our Gr.6 Achieve winner for February. She completed 29 Achieve articles with a score of 75% or better in the month of February!

Schuyler School - we held a special reading challenge for Read Across America Week. Each time a student was caught reading on their own they won a ticket. At the end of the week we picked three tickets. Congratulations to our winners!

Schuyler School - Ms. Hatfield's class and Ms. Walsh's class ended our Read Across America Week with a delicious breakfast including green eggs and ham!

Schuyler School - Second grade Black History Month activity.
Students created vibrant collages representing the Jazz and Blues era in Black History. Students created lined drawings of various Jazz instruments and created a collage highlighting some of the best artists of all time. As students were working, the class listened to music by Louis Armstrong, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charles. We discussed the many barriers these artists had to break through, and how powerful and beautiful their music was and still is today! They had a great time!

Schuyler School - Ms. Rocha's first grade class made a special presentation celebrating our 100th day of school. All the students wrote about what they would do if today was their 100th birthday and then took of picture of themselves as if they were 100!
