Schuyler School - A special thank you to our final Mystery Reader of the year: Luciana’s mom, Vanessa Loayza. She read the story of Cinderella in Spanish for our students this morning and they absolutely loved it! Such a great experience for our students to hear a familiar fairytale read in another language. Thank you for volunteering your time! It means so much to our class.
Schuyer School - Congratulations to the winners of our i-Ready contest for May. These students had the highest number of lessons passed for the month. We also celebrated the highest achievers from each grade level and finally the grand champ of the school for May!
Schuyler School students really enjoyed a visit from our favorite i-Ready character, Snargg!
Schuyler School - Ms. Hatfield's students built spahhetti towers with marshmallows. They had to figure out what the strongest foundation would be to construct the tower.

Schuyler School - Sixteen of our students had their artwork selected for the District Art Show. We also had four winners: Aiden (not pictured) took third place for grade 3, Sami took second place for grade 3, Ariannys took first place for grade 4, and Ava won Greatest in Elementary!!
All Schuyler School students got to experience a visit from the Barn Hill Preserve and learn about some special animals including an owl, a bearded dragon, and a tenrec! They even got to take pictures with them!
Schuyler School - We are so proud to announce we had two winners in the K-2 division of the Fire Safety Poster Contest! They each won a new bike! Special thanks to the Kearny Fire Department!

Schuyler School - Ms. Blevis had her 6th grade computer classes create comic strips using Google Drawing and they did an amazing job! Congratulations to the top four comic strips!
Schuyler School - Ms. Ferreira's PreK3 class had so much fun on their trip to the Kearny Library! Special thanks to Josh Humphrey for making the day so special for our students!
