Schuyler School - what a great class trip! Ms. Walsh's and Ms. Hatfield's classes had the opportunity to visit Lifetown in Livingston, NJ. Lifetown is like a little town where they got to experience so many life skills like riding a bike, getting a manicure, shopping at ShopRite, going to a bank, and walking a dog! They had so much fun!

Schuyler School - Third graders in Mrs. Esparra's class have recently started a poetry unit in honor of April's Poetry Month. Students have been learning that poet's use their senses to help readers visualize their poems. The beautiful weather allowed for an impromptu outdoor lesson where students brainstormed ideas about what they see, hear, taste, feel and smell during the spring. They later went back to class and used their brainstorming ideas to construct a poem about spring using their five senses.
