Reminder! In honor of President's Day, all Kearny School District schools will be closed on Monday, February 17th.


🚨 Thursday, February 6th: Due to weather conditions, all Kearny schools will be closed today.


📣 Due to the anticipated weather conditions, the Kearny School District will follow a delayed opening schedule tomorrow, Thursday, February 6.
🔔 PreK through grade six will arrive at 10:00am and grades seven through twelve will arrive at 9:50 am.
⚠️ There will be no Right at School morning care.
⚠️ We will re-evaluate the weather conditions in the morning and communicate any necessary information. Thank you.


☕️🤝 Superintendent Flora Encarnacao, Assistant Superintendent Aliki Bieltz, and District Immigrant Family Social Worker Patricia Tellez have been visiting each of our schools as part of the ongoing Coffee with the Superintendent series. Today, they continued the conversations at Roosevelt School, where parents and guardians had the opportunity to connect, discuss important topics, and strengthen our school community. Thank you to all who have joined us for coffee and conversation!💙✨








The 6th grade LLD students joined KHS Success classes for a hands-on Life Skills event, learning essential tasks like doing laundry and making a quick meal. Huge thanks to our amazing teachers and aides for making this experience so meaningful!
