Roosevelt Elementary School students participated in a Recognition Wall as part of our Elementary Wellness Week. Each student was encouraged to write a note of gratitude, of positivity, or a shout out to a friend or helper. We "recognize" all of our students and staff and appreciate your hard work and commitment to excellence, today and every day!
KHS Medical and Dental students visited Roosevelt School to kick off Elementary Wellness Week. While there, the high schoolers conducted mini-lessons on Nutrition and Oral Health, proper toothbrushing techniques, the importance of handwashing, and implementing healthy habits at school and home.
π₯πThe champs are here! Congratulations to Coach Sanchez and Team Roosevelt on winning the first 5/6 Grade Championship. The school name will be etched onto the trophy and they will keep it until next year's tournament.
Thank you to everyone for volunteering their time to make this, along with the fall sessions practices and fun day, a success. Special thanks to Coaches Hill and McCaffrey for running the practice sessions last week and officiating the games.
