Garfield School: Fourth Graders visited the Kearny Public Library. Students were able to visit the children's room to borrow books, explore the museum to learn about Kearny's history, and check out the board games in the activity room downstairs. Thank you so much to the Kearny Public Library!

Through the NJ Courts in Community outreach program, Garfield School's 4th-6th graders were introduced to the three branches of government. They learned about the state’s court system and the importance of a fair justice system. The students learned about different career paths and various jobs they can pursue when they’re older.

Garfield School: Students in Ms. Curry's first grade KEEP class used engineer design thinking to help solve a problem. The Creepy Carrots kept escaping out of Crackenhopper Field! Students used a variety of materials to create structures including fences with barbed wire and a moat.
