Garfield School Field Day!










6th-grade students from Garfield School were so eggs-cited to participate in their annual Egg Drop Activity! Eggs-pert groups designed and built their landing device using recycled materials. Eggs were then carefully placed inside and their goal was to survive the drop without cracking! Students and teachers had an eggs-cellent time!










Garfield School: The students in Miss Gallagher’s Reading Class, participated in fun, interactive board games using their prefix and suffix knowledge.

Garfield School Achieve3000 recognition of students who have shown the most growth and have completed over 80 activities this school year.

Garfield School: Students in Ms. Vicente's class had an opportunity to design a city or their dream bedroom to end the ear with their geometry unit!

Garfield School Second graders enjoyed a fun in the sun day today. They participated in centers that included a sprinkler for water fun, bubbles, cornhole, frisbees and side walk chalk. Everyone had fun spending time with each other before summer begins








Today at Garfield School the 6th grade Peers presented the incoming 5th graders with information to get them excited and feel more prepared for the transition! Having older peers visit and share their experiences can make the transition smoother and less intimidating. It's a chance for the incoming students to ask questions and learn about what to expect.

Garfield School Sixth Graders had a blast on their field trip!








Mrs. Berberian's 4th graders hosted their first annual Wax Museum Showcase. Students dressed as popular and historical figures and posed as if they were wax statues. When a "button" was pressed, the students brought their characters to life, speaking for a few minutes about their lives, achievements, and provided a fun facts. The event was well-attended by parents, students, and staff, who were all impressed by the presentations. Special thanks to Mrs. Berberian for her hard work and effort in organizing this amazing event!










Garfield School students enjoyed a visit from Rizzo's Wildlife! They were so intrigued by the different animals.








Kindergarten students at Garfield School enjoyed a lively and joyful end of year celebration with Michael from Rockness Music. The show featured catchy tunes and interactive songs which had everyone dancing along. The playful rhythms created a memorable experience that brought a smile to everyone's face!






Garfield School students enjoyed a visit from the Traveling Lantern Play House. The play was titled "My Mother the Astronaut." Students loved learning about space.
