🚨Reminder: Wednesday, November 26th will be a single session day for all Kearny School District schools. All students in grades PreK-12 will be dismissed at 12:54pm. Schools will be closed on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th in observance of Thanksgiving Day 🦃

Today we are honoring our district paraprofessionals who bring patience, compassion, and steady support to our classrooms every day. Thank you for the love, guidance, and dedication you show our children. We are truly grateful for all you do. 💛📘

LMS and EPIC are excited to host “A Very Special Holiday Party” for the second year at LMS and the eighth year overall. This fun, free event is designed for children with special needs and their families. Please see the attached flyer and use the QR code to register.

As part of our Gratitude Week celebration, today we are celebrating the district bus drivers who start and end each school day with a smile. No matter the weather or the route, they greet our students with patience, kindness, and steady care.

We are starting with our incredible security team. They greet the earliest arrivals, watch over our buildings long after the last dismissal, and bring comfort simply by being there. Their steady presence keeps our schools safe and allows our community to thrive.

Hello everyone, We’re excited for a fun last day of school! Thanks to our PTSA, all students will enjoy a special ice cream treat, and the day will be filled with activities. Please do your best to ensure your child attends. Thank you for your support throughout the year, and best of luck to our 8th graders as they head to high school! Lincoln Middle School was recognized by the National Wildlife Federation’s EcoSchools U.S. program for exceptional achievement in educating for sustainability and driving positive environmental change in the school and local community. It now joins a growing network of environmentally committed schools across New Jersey, and is among those honored with the prestigious Green Flag—the highest recognition awarded by the Eco-Schools program.

We have just 16 days left in the school year—let’s finish strong! Please take a moment to review your child’s attendance. Students with 18 or more absences, whether excused or unexcused, are considered chronically absent. Let’s work together to stay below that number. Remember, strong attendance supports strong achievement. Thank you, as always, for your support—we’re looking forward to an exciting final stretch at LMS!
