The Kearny High School K-Birds had the honor of performing patriotic tunes at the annual Incredible Duck Race, hosted by the Kearny-Belleville Elks. This event supported homeless veterans, making it a meaningful cause and a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage with the community and strengthen bonds.

Franklin School is kicking off a brand new school year with an important mindset: every student learns and solves problems in their own unique way.

To celebrate this, students in Mrs. Komurek-DeMatos' classes were asked to reflect on a fun and insightful question:
"What type of math person are you?"

This activity helps set the tone for a classroom where all math minds are valued — because there's no one right way to be a “math person.”

The K-Birds proudly represented Kearny High School at the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Town Hall, sharing their voices in honor of such a meaningful occasion.
