In Mrs. LaRossa period 3 engineering students visited Ms. Hatfield's class and shared their game board designs. The engineering students were challenged to design a new game board using the engineering design process. Students came up with the game concept, created the board, directions, packaging and game pieces, many of which were 3D designed and printed. The students showed Ms. Hatfield's students how to play their games and all students had an enjoyable class period learning and discovering the new games.

KHS:
We try and it is a TEAM EFFORT!!

Brianna Lopez at the Region 6 Poetry Out Loud Competition (Passaic County Community College). She did an excellent job and was one of only five contestants that made it to the 3rd and final round of the competition. There were 18 participants in total from Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson Counties there. Brianna joins a short list of Kearny High School participants to make it this far. We are very proud of the work and effort put forth for this on her own time in order to represent Kearny High School.
WELL DONE!!!!
