KHS: On Friday, November 17th, members of the KHS Student Government Association attended Kean University's Diversity Council's High School Leadership Conference. While there, students were able to hear from keynote speaker, Jamar Root, about his experiences and were educated on how to discover their passion and find success. Students also were able to network with other individuals from schools all over New Jersey and work together to create action plans regarding current school issues. Several members of the SGA got up in front of a plethora of other students to ask questions and share their strategies for achieving their specific goals in relation to obstacles students face on a day-to-day basis.
