🛠️ Kearny High School’s Building and Trades students, led by Mr. Phil Talone, dove into hands-on activities at the Construction Industry Career Day Expo at the NJ Convention Expo Center on May 29th! Sponsored by CCT, DISCA, ELEC and others, the attendees learned about educational opportunities, wage progressions, participated in demonstrations, and inquired about the signup process for the various unions represented at the show. Our kids represented the district well by demonstrating professionalism, courtesy and genuine interest in the field. Thank you to Mr. Talone for organizing the trip, and kudos to our students on a job well done! 🛠️
