KHS: We would like to take a few moments to recognize an irreplaceable member of the Kearny High School community who is about to embark upon a well-deserved retirement after fifty years of outstanding service. Mrs. Bridie Carty has been the face and driving force behind our school cafeteria and food services for decades, serving thousands of students and staff alike over her tenure. We’re sure many people don’t realize half of what she has done for all of those people over the course of a lifetime. Her unmistakable voice and presence are something those who have known her will never forget, and one would think this time would never come. Bridie - you have been such a staple here in the Kearny school district, and we would like to wish you congratulations! Your half a century of hard work and dedication have been invaluable to our team. Thank you for so many years of service and commitment. It has been a privilege to work alongside you. Your contributions have made a lasting impact and we will miss you dearly, but wish you all the best as you begin this new and exciting chapter! We hope you enjoy every moment! On a personal note from Mr. Brack, he would like to sincerely thank you for everything you have done for him and his students during his time as a teacher at KHS.
