Francis, whose favorite subject is mathematics, also likes
writing, especially poetry. Trying to make some sense out of why so many people
died, Francis, in just under an hour, wrote a poem which she titled “Don’t
Tell Me Why.” Francis, being very
computer literate, was searching the Internet for other poems and went to www.poetry.com.
She learned of a contest being sponsored by the International Society of Poets
and she submitted her poem to the International Society of Poets. On
