The School Based
Youth Services Program Teen Center at Kearny High School is designed to provide
youngsters with a wide variety of services on a "one-stop shopping"
basis. The Teen center strives for excellence in its service delivery. The staff
strives to ensure the delivery of a seamless array of supports and services to
make a positive impact on the life of each person touched by our efforts. The
Teen Center offers the following services:
After School Recreation, Various trips, Group Discussions, Learning Support
Activities, One-on-One Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling, employment
counseling, Family Counseling and Referrals to other agencies.
The School Based Youth Services Teen Center at KHS is dedicated to providing
high quality services and resources to protect, assist and empower our youth.
Its core values are people first, service excellence diversity, partnerships and
public trust.
The School Based Youth Services Program Teen Center at Kearny High School is
funded by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Human Services and the
Kearny Board of Education
