The building trade’s class of Kearny High School has been busy preparing shadow boxes for the residents of the West Hudson division of Clara Maass Medical Center in Kearny, under the guidance of Mr. Phil Talone, Instructor. Mrs. Bernice Marshall, Director of Recreation at the facility contacted Mr. Alfred Somma, Principal of Kearny High School and requested his help in getting the boxes assembled and refinished for the residents of the extended care facility. The boxes will hold mementos and remembrances from their lives to make their new living quarters a little more familiar and comfortable for them.
