Student artwork by Kearny High School art students was displayed at the annual Caldwell College Teen Art Festival. The show ran from October 23 - November 17 at the Visceglia Gallery at Caldwell College. An opening reception was held on Wednesday, November 1, to honor the participants. Each school was allowed to submit up to twenty artworks in the juried show. The KHS Art Department was superbly represented by photography, painting and drawings produced by Advanced and Independent Study students. Ian Costello and Javier Milara, both seniors were recognized with awards for their pastel paintings. Ian is eligible for scholarship money at Caldwell College because of his award.
