Meet the newest members of the Kearny School District Family...Clara Calienes, Jennifer Caserta, Jeanine Day, Virginia Desmond, April Dlugosh, Danah Franchino, Amy Glenn, Meghan Hackett, James Haggarty, Margaret Hammond, Candice Lalor, Erica Legowski, Helena Lopes, Kerri McIlroy, Antonio Moyano, Jeffrey Pallino, O. The day begin with an orientation in the Board of Education meeting room August 24, 2004 followed by a tour of the town given by School Superintendent Robert P. Mooney.
During the orientation, the new faculty members were introduced to many building principals, vice principals and directors.
They learned of their pension and benefits package, the KEA, professional development, mentoring and public relations.
The newly appointed teachers adjourned their day very enthusiastically while looking forward to their first day of school in the Kearny School District September 7, 2004.
