Neil Brohm, Director of Technology, Addresses the BOE

Mr. Neil Brohm, Director of Technology for the Kearny School District, spoke to the members of the Kearny Board of Education and the public at the BOE meeting in April. His presentation included more than seventy slides on the many technological advances and initiatives for the district. He noted that the district has approximately 1400 computers, all "on-line" and that the schools have computer labs for traditional and specific instructional programs.

He spoke about the ITV facility and the new Synergistic Lab located in the high school.  He showed the audience pictures of students in the elementary schools using the new smart boards and talked about the initiative for mobile wireless carts for Internet access in each school.
