Policy
TAPING OF CLOSED MEETINGS
The following
policy is suggested:
1. Closed Board of Education meetings will no longer be routinely taped.
2. A Board member has the prerogative to request that closed session be recorded.
A majority vote of the Board of Education members present is required.
3. The tape will be transcribed as soon as possible.
4. The tape will be kept under lock and key separated from the other Board tapes.
5. Tapes of open meetings should be destroyed after a period of three years.
6. Tapes of closed meetings should be kept indefinitely.
