Regular Meeting

The Regular Meeting of the Kearny Board of Education was held in the Board Room, 100 Davis Avenue, on the evening of the above date.
President Mc Donald called the meeting to order and announced that in accordance with Chapter 231, Laws of 1975, Open Public Meetings Act, adequate notice of the meeting was provided to the Observer and the Jersey Journal. Notice of the meeting was posted on the bulletin board in the lobby of the Board Office and filed with the Town Clerk by letter dated June 15, 2006.
ROLL CALL
On roll call, the following members were present: Mr. Campbell, Mr. Castelli, Mr. Doffont, Mrs. Marks, Mrs. Santos, Mrs. Schalago, Mrs. Mc Keown, President Mc Donald.
Mr. Robert P. Mooney, Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Ingrid Kiss, Assistant Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Leslie J. Gaulton, Business Administrator/Board Secretary, and Kenneth J. Lindenfelser, Esq., Board Attorney were also present.

Mrs. Mc Donald led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

PRESENTATION
Leslie J. Gaulton, Business Administrator/Board Secretary, was presented with a plaque from President Mc Donald to honor his years of service, prior to his retirement on June 30, 2006.
Frank Digesere, Principal of Kearny High School, was presented with a plaque from Vice President Mc Keown, honoring his years of service. Mr. Digesere is leaving the District to assume the role of Superintendent of Schools in the Bloomfield School District on July 1, 2006.
